The number of times vulnerable circumstances was mentioned as a theme (dark blue) as a proportion of the total number of conversations held (light grey)

Vulnerable circumstances

The data suggests that there is a need for more support for vulnerable people in Mancroft. The main concern is the lack of support for homeless people. There are also concerns about homeless people using parks and community gardens and leaving rubbish and vandalising things. There is an opportunity within Mancroft to support the assets that are already in the community, as it appears as though there is support there for homeless people but it for some reason is not easy to access and or not being broadcasted well enough. With this section being a relatively small portion of comments from the data set it is hard to make a concrete judgement on the real needs for people in vulnerable circumstances. Therefore, there is the potential to speak to what are targeted as the vulnerable people themselves as currently there is not much indication of when speaking to these community members if they are in vulnerable circumstances themselves. It would then be a recommendation to go to places and speak to these people such as the homeless and see what the needs are for them and find out if there are a lot of barriers to getting the help that is needed. Overall, the data suggests that there is a need for more support for vulnerable people in Mancroft. This could include providing more housing options for homeless people, increasing access to services, and raising awareness of the issue.
